Do winter as only a Westwood do!

If you are feeling just a little too overwhelmed by thoughts of what to wear  and how to quite wear it(trust me it happens ..)this winter fret no more. The coolhunter in me is quite convinced that we should be looking to someone  like Madame Vivienne for inspiration to spark our fashionable imaginations. Her latest fall collection is rich with ingenious creative seperates to flip the fashion script away from it's repetitve plot for  good.
Fabulously mad and quirky ,be a scientist of style about to take over the mad world of fashion.Invest in a long white coat or save your cool girl butts blue for V.Westwood original  darls'!
A man with imagination is oh so close to my heart's desire ...I  dare you  to never match your  socks with your blazer  and meet me on our first date 'handsome.(wink wink..)
Brown ,grey, patchwork pants, layer and rustic but in the chicest way  pulled  together for a sense of style that doesn't have to say weathered by storm. You know how these above mentioned detail and colour can make a man look dull but Madame V. just knew how to dream it all up in a 'sexy man ' new kind of way.

Grey doesn't need to ever mean ghastly again with a little re-invention:Leather cuffs, white knee-highs and super high
Gaga style platforms and you are an instant urban warrior Godess.
Sexy vampire show me your fangs!

love you loads freaky fashion people till my next post.........cheerio  the only coolhunter G

The Cape Town carnival is here

It is that time of the year,Easter is dawning upon us( I can taste an chocolate egg melting away in my mouth....agh the lingering sensation chocolate gratifies one with!).Ok but before I go off on my my chocolate day dream and rush to the store to satisfy my obsession I bring you news. Thus without further a due ,the Cape Town carnival is happening within the central business district i.e the buzzing heart of the mother city this very weekend. What grand spectacle of sorts does it hold in store for us this year we anticipate , cruising through the streets of town hoping to be present at yet another amazingly fun filled event.Casual wear is on and we are setting out in troops to meet and mingle and to be part of the mad magic of the age old tradition that is carnival................all that is needed is to be festive and enjoy. Can someone say livebands and dancing, precocious performances and more!So out and about I will be fashion people till my next post, cheerio Coolhunter G

Fo'eva fly Iris.

Be it the truth that each and everyone of us are completely unique from one another ,expressing our own distinctive sense of style still remains rocket science to some of us.Plagued by over consumption of trends season after season it appears some of us have all but abandoned something called originality many a moon a go.Anyways here is a picture of an old girl who's style I just admire to the core.Take a note out of her vogue fashionistas.................be individualistic about your style.Don't fake or imitate!cheerio till next time coolhunterg

Crafty Christmas inspirations

For all those fashionistas who are really Martha Stewarts at heart here are a few deco ideas to try should you be stuck for some.

Those of you appreciate all things rustic why not create some fun focal points they make great conversation points too.

This is very easy idea with what to do with candles especially the table's centre piece. It is very simple and remember your not limited to the traditional red cherry branches. You may want to be a bit more inventive and spray /paint some  soft twig branches a colour complementing you theme.

Suprise your guests with creative food and drinks and food this time around my guess is they will not only be back for more but be delightfully suprised.

Not everyone drinks heavy liquer so my advice is an sweet cranberry cocktail crafted in classy cool glass.
Be chilled this season all you lovely folk after all tis' the season to be jolly, happy decorating............cheerio coolhunterg

Sparkly silver and white

Move away from traditional red and opt for for sultry silver and white theme to create a stylish and calm atmostphere.Probably not such a great idea if you are having teeny tods' with sticky chocolate fingers over.It is a beautiful idea which makes for tasteful dining this Christmas!cheerio, coolhunterg
