Doris does Punk !

Hello fashion people coolhunter G says you may  surely wear your fur on your collar or create one like the one  I have created here with a fur shawl.You can even add a brooch or two if you like.Just playing around with Doris(Yes ladies my sister's bustform has a name....please don't ask!) I managed to create punkish look which even I myself like to rock at times!Whatever you decide to do though for a look that is uniquely you ....please have fun with it............cheerio coolhunter G

A real chocolate factory....

It was a delectable walk about at the Mill this past Saturday morning.The market seemed busier than usual fusing together all types of market lovin' peeps.Look I know ya'll think I like the Mill way too much but hey truth is ,if I am gonna breakfast on a Saturday morning it might as well be at the Mill.So out I was with an enthusiastic younger brother,fellow fashionista sister and her kids.We browsed as strategically as we could given the fact that the place was packed.My nose however remained sternly perched in the air sniffing ,sniffing,sniffing  out what's new ofcourse( I am not called coolhunter G for no reason ye know.....).Imagine the scent of brewing hot chocolate syrup then stumbling upon a people hard at work creating the coco magic many melting moments ought to be made of. The Coco fair on at the Mill had me walk into it like a complete zombie.Interesting that it too seems to be in a dungeon like space creating the intrigue which inevitably sparked my curiousity.(And deep down in the dungeon of delight the dark chocolate chocolatiers were sweetening the plot or rather coco pot......)Yeah  so I acted like a complete and utter adolescent drooling over bags and slabs of organic chocolate all of time standing still..... digging into tester bowls entranced.Yummy yummy I kept pleasing my tummy with not one  care for an added calorie.This place should too  make your priority list if you are a chocoholic like me(getting out might be problem though ...just as a word of warning ok..)Later back in the land of the living and outside my dreamy bubble of bliss  a concerned sister wondered where I have disappeared too.Despite my better judgement I told her I was right in the loo doing a number two which ofcourse she did not buy because the brown configuration around my mouth gave my whole chocolate slurping secret away........cheerio coolhunter G ( Ps: Find the Coco Fair next to the ATM machines at the Mill)

Lovin the wigs.........

The styling is done to immaculate perfection.......pretty darn impressive.I am not to keen about the selection of merchandise though it however still comes together quite ok.As for wig-styling I am absolutely besotted!Besotted besotted I tell ya!I miss my visual merchandising days a past colleague told me once a while ago that once a flippin great vm. always a great vm.See one is born with the flair and flavour for detail.It is an artform towards which my heart will always stay true.......cheerio visual merchandiser,coolhunter G

Confessions of the mad collector

The knit is a my much loved thrifty treasure which I picked upfor a dilly dime and a half  a while ago while out and about coolhunting.I wear it with a skinny dark blue denim jeans and my Doc Martens to sex it up a bit.The brooch in the next picture  is from Amazon so just click on the pic. to see how you can get your granny brooch lovin' hands on one of it.

This is a jacket which I vintagified it to pretty pop perfection.....coz hello how else' am I to forge forth in the cool cool world if I don't represent and then amplify supa cool?I wear this with a good denim and  an equestrian style brown or tan boot plus a classic white vest to avoid an old- fashioned look.

This is Joy's collectable's display window of a week or two ago.This collector's hut forms part of the Antiquity market in lower Long.When you are in the mood to go thrift thrawlling you will be pleased to find the quaint retro hatbox of a shop on the inside called Glitterati.Yes fashionistas it is official ,I am obsessed with all things with an indelible rustic vintage charm.cheerio...coolhunter G

Tasteful tid bits

 On a visit to my sister's place recently I could not withhold myself from snapping a few pictures of her favourite things whilst there.This bust-form is an oldie which I totally love so I vintagified(new word meaning to re-style a look with vintage /retro clothes) it a bit.

 This is her jewellery stack box of which century print I adore.she always wears chunky ,bold old silver pieces from local jewellery brand Miglio to indivualise her look.

Oh and this is her little tea tray cemented in her little tea nook in her flat to which when I visit we retreat to to talk about life,lusts and fashion ofcourse........cheerio ,coolhunter G
